Next month marks the 35th anniversary of my first solo trip to Los Angeles, a memorable gift for my 20th birthday. L.A. instantly captivated me with its pop culture allure. I’ve revisited many times, celebrating special birthdays, and while searching for old trip photos, I share some favorites captured on later visits.

It was a grey and windy morning. Up at the crack of dawn, decided to go for a walk around the property. Came upon this sight. Very happy that I was able to capture the light streaking through the clouds in this way. Made up for the absence of sun… which would point its glorious self a few hours later.
